Records Management Services
We direct Virginia Tech's Records Management Program to promote efficient and economic management of public records. We operate the Records Center, a high-density storage facility capable of storing over 19,000 boxes of inactive records. Visits to our state-of-the-art facility are welcome. To arrange a tour please contact us at 231-0224 or recmgmt@vt.edu.
Records Management Services also provides off-site storage of computer back-up tape from Local Area Networks (LANs) in a secure, fire resistant vault. In accordance with state guidelines, we can destroy large volumes of your confidential records in our large-capacity shredder. All of these services are FREE to departments and colleges of Virginia Tech.
